replacement/performance. We've found some customer's prefer to lower their car a bit more in the front compared to the rear. These upper spring plates (also known as "drop hats") from a late-model BMW give you another .5 inch drop. IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE: Upon installation be sure to reuse the complaince washer between this plate and the upper strut mount. If this washer is not used (or placed out of sequence) your suspension will bind.
