Shift Plate Support Arm Bushing for 2002

replacement/performance/race. This bushing goes into the bottom of the shift-plate support arm (bmw # 25111201238) that mounts to the bottom of the transmission. This bushing was traditionally not available separately as it was bonded to the actual rod, this meant to replace the bushing you had to replace the arm. The support arm is now over $50, so this piece offers an effective replacement at a much lower cost. Machined right here in Southern California. Installation: Remove the old molded rubber bushing from your support arm by burning it out. Clean out the inside of the rod and then tap in this new bushing.
